don't rain on my parade

The english weather wasn't particularly good today, it had dampend our moods and it sent a tired atmosphere around school.. i'd walk into school looking like a zombie, which isn't a good start to a day. But it wasn't always gloomy! as my day has flashed by very quickly. On the brightside we had to go out and celebrate my uncles birthday; i thought this would wake me up. I was good and i bought him a nice card, but it looked quite childish.. maybe it would make him feel younger. The family get together doesn't always please me as it feels like a parents meeting all the time, i guess this is what families do. The parents telling me the same things, over and over again.. i can read it like a book now. However i sometimes enjoy it i guess nothing can beat a family gathering, always something eventful going on with lots of drama, this time nothing big but my dad spilling water over himself and abit of funny gossip which gets everyone involved. So it wasn't just my dad wetting themselves, but instead with laughter.
